Featured photo essay from 2023 McDonald’s 40th Gospelfest’s singing competition.
Side note: I’ve grown to love these set of photos, especially the featured photo of this article. This is a story of images that I wanted to highlight from my Gospelfest 2023 collection. I must admit that the featured photo was a beautiful accident. I realized that my lens focused on the face of the young woman behind as opposed to the main singer in the foreground, but then, I saw how priceless her expression was and said, “I can’t delete this!” I feel like this photo is a great summation of the ladies singing competition, in that, I found that these two singers were incredibly supportive of each other and their competition.
